On August 10, Ying Hongfeng, Party Secretary and Director of the Provincial Drug Administration Bureau, along with a delegation of eight members, visited Guorui Yinuo Pharmaceutical Safety Evaluation Research Co., Ltd. in the Airport New City of Xixian New Area to inspect the construction of the drug GLP laboratory. Deputy Director Qi Huili, as well as relevant officials from the Registration Division, the Medical Device Division, and the Institute of Drug Inspection, and Zhai Riqiang, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shaanxi Pharmaceutical Group, also joined the inspection tour.
During this period, the research team conducted on-site inspections of various functional areas, including the company’s central functional laboratory, animal facilities, and interventional operating room. They listened to briefings from the company’s leaders on relevant matters and gained a detailed understanding of the company’s GLP laboratory’s quality system development, the management of genotoxicity and local toxicity tests that have been approved for certification, as well as the company’s future development plans.
Ying Hongfeng expressed his affirmation and congratulations on the company’s active engagement in the innovative development of Shaanxi’s pharmaceutical industry, including its achievement of becoming the province’s first certified GLP laboratory for drugs—a breakthrough that marks a historic milestone for Shaanxi’s drug GLP laboratories. He urged the company to leverage its unique strengths, accelerate the acquisition of full-spectrum qualifications for drug safety assessments, and promptly pursue bilateral international GLP certification, ultimately realizing the goal of “Shaanxi-certified, internationally recognized.” The Provincial Drug Administration will take the “100 Experts Assisting 100 Enterprises” initiative as a key driver, making full use of “Qin Chuang Yuan”—the province’s overarching platform for innovation-driven development—to provide enterprises with comprehensive policy support and technical guidance. This will help expedite the establishment of a complete industrial chain platform for drugs and medical devices in Shaanxi Province, open up a fast-track pathway for the innovation and commercialization of drugs and medical devices, and bolster the growth and strength of our province’s biopharmaceutical industry.
