On July 9, 2024, approximately 70 students from the Biotechnology major of the School of Life Science and Technology at Xi'an Jiaotong University, led by Associate Dean Li Jianjun, visited and studied at the GLP laboratory of Xixian New Area Guorui Yinuo Drug Safety Evaluation and Research Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Guorui Yinuo").

The lecture provided students with a detailed introduction to the history and current status of GLP, including the origins of Guorui GLP Laboratory, the current state of GLP in China, and the experimental projects conducted by Guorui GLP Laboratory. This allowed students to gain a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of GLP from various perspectives. GLP stands for Good Laboratory Practice; broadly speaking, it refers to rigorous laboratory standards. A comprehensive set of regulations and procedures for management—including laboratory construction, equipment and personnel requirements, various management systems and operating protocols, as well as the accreditation of laboratories and their qualification to issue certificates—covering aspects such as experimental design, operations, and record-keeping. the entire process—including reporting and supervision—as well as the standardized requirements for laboratories. GLP originated initially in pharmaceutical research and is closely aligned with GCP (Good Clinical Practice) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice). Subsequently, the concept of GLP has gradually expanded to encompass pesticides, environmental and food contaminants, industrial toxins, and various health-related products—including foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics, and disinfectants—thus covering all laboratory research activities related to human health.
Listened to After the GLP explanation, students actively engaged in a lively exchange with Teacher Yan Min, discussing topics such as the side effects and adverse reactions of the investigational drugs they were concerned about, as well as the safety of cosmetics. 
Subsequently, Guo Rui Led by Yan Min, GLP Laboratory Quality Manager; Li Zengfang, Toxicology Manager; and Wang Tianqin, Analytical Manager, the students toured various areas including the Genetic Toxicology Laboratory, Reproductive Toxicology Laboratory, Pre-analytical Processing Laboratory, Analytical Laboratory, Pathology Diagnostic Room, Clinical Laboratory, Pathology Technology Room, Weighing Room, General and Barrier Animal Facilities, and DSA Operating Room, thereby deepening their understanding of theoretical knowledge.
