Archives
The archives consist of four rooms: a paper archives room, a dry specimen archives room, a wet specimen archives room, and a sample retention room for test products. The facility is fully equipped with compliant furnishings and equipment, including compact shelving, photocopiers, printers, scanners, computers, and binding machines. It is also outfitted with stringent archival protection measures, such as an automatic fire suppression system, an alarm system, a video surveillance system, and a 24-hour temperature and humidity monitoring system, ensuring centralized and unified management and protection of the institution’s archives.
The archives department has established a relatively complete archival management system within the institution and is staffed with full-time archivists who are responsible for managing archival operations. In accordance with national archival regulations and taking into account the institution’s specific circumstances, a series of management rules and regulations concerning archival work have been formulated and promulgated. These documents clearly define the responsibilities of the archives department, specify the scope and detailed contents of archival records, and implement law-based archival management as well as target-oriented management of archival work.
Our office places great importance on the development and utilization of existing archival resources, fully tapping into their value, continuously expanding our service areas, and improving and diversifying our service methods. We will continue to intensify our efforts in infrastructure development and the construction of information platforms, steadily advancing institutional archival work to new heights.
